Matrix IP has been at the forefront of telecommunications technology for over 30 years and is led by principal Dr Richard Freyer who has conceived, designed and invested in early stage telecommunications technology services since the early 1980’s. He was an early inventor and investor in messaging technology with Easycall, Matrix Messagetech and Australian Gigahertz networks (AGN) as the business applications of the technology developed. These technology investments were developed and resulted in patented LMDS based radio cellular radio services. The networks built are designed to support fixed and mobile broadband cellular based data services.
The leading edge AGN technology was first deployed in cellular facilities in both Manila and Sydney utilising a SHF frequencies, cellular reuse structure and licensed LMDS spectrum deployed to provide a seamless digital broadband network solution that could also simultaneously carry video as an overlay.
The technology invented was disclosed in patents granted in USA, Philippines, Thailand and Australia.
